I'de like to introduce myself, Tyler. I have had many pets throughout my life. In my twenties I became passionate about keeping Discus fish. It was a hobby that kept me busy during any free time I had. I was given a tank from someone that was moving. I made a terrarium with baby turtles. This started another passion with turtles, frogs, and toads. As life got busy with starting a family there seemed to be no time or money for pets. I sold off everything I had except for one fish tank. After life settled down I wanted to buy a home that was on a natuaral spring. Finding something not run down or affordable didnt seem like it was gonna happen. So I decided to make my own back yard lagoon. Water falls, palm trees, pool, and some natural wildlife. I thought getting some tortoises and a parrot would add to the enjoyment of the yard. That is when I started a pet room. Now living in a time where Youtube had videos filling me with ideas. Over the last few years reptiles and parrots have really grabbed my attention. As I got deeper into the hobby with different types of animals I found an egg in an enclosure. This opened up another part of keeping reptiles that I never thought about. Seeing people building careers from a hobby they love seemed possible for myself. At this point I am still just a hobbyist, but I am growing my passion every day.
